Hydrosave is delighted to have been selected as finalists alongside Anglian Water at the Water Industry Awards 2024.
Shortlisted in the ‘Alliance or Partnership of the Year’ category, this achievement recognises Hydrosave’s involvement in Anglian Water’s Enhanced Pressure Management project, as part of their SMART Water program.
The project incorporates approximately 7,000 regional pressure sensors which continually monitor the clean water network via NB-IoT technology and are geographically spaced across each district meter area. The data from the sensors is being collated into a data management system developed in the ignition platform, which enables the sensor health to be analysed, validate performance and in turn streamline the maintenance requirements of the sensor fleet.
The Enhanced Pressure Management sensors enables Anglian Water to promptly identify changes in network performance, facilitate a rapid response to failure events and customer disruption, and provide the data in near real time that enables the design and validation of solutions to network deficiencies.
Hydrosave’s involvement in the project includes the initial installation, ongoing maintenance and servicing of the sensors facilitated through their SMART Networks Division and project manager, Dan Kitchener.
Stuart Mobbs, Technical Director, commented: “‘We are delighted to be nominated alongside Anglian Water as their trusted service provider and collaborative partner and look forward to the outcome of the awards event.”
The awards take place on Thursday 4 July in Birmingham.
