Hydrosave were employed to help identify the location of buried valves and verify the accuracy and connectivity of the existing site record drawings so that independent cells could be isolated and removed for inspection. The project also incorporated the use of advanced GPR techniques to ascertain probable leakages within the concrete sub structure and waterproofing.
Challenges
Mains sub 4 metres deep, incomplete record drawings, multi utility site with opposing signal interference.
